Here is what everyone is waiting for, the FFLockerRoom’s Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups for week 16, championship week! I am going to put these guys in order of what I believe to be the most important guys first, top down. Hopefully if you are reading this, that means you are still in the fantasy playoffs, congratulations!

MUST OWN
1. Kirk Cousins, QB, Washington Redskins (3.0%*) – When word came out that Kirk Cousins was going to be the starter for Washington, many savvy owners went out and picked him up knowing his match ups down the stretch. If for some reason you are in the fantasy championship and in need of a possibly great QB, Cousins could be your guy. Up against the Cowboys, he could be in line for another big game.
2. Jordan Todman, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars (2.3%) – Todman played extremely well with Maurice Jones-Drew out and could be worth a start again if MJD misses week 16.
3. Rod Streater, WR, Oakland Raiders (7.0%) – Matt McGloin has made Streater his number one option since taking over and while his week 15 wasn’t stellar, his nine targets led the team. He gets a soft Chargers defense this week and could make for a good plug and play.
TAKE A CHANCE
4. Detroit Lions DEF (8.1%) – I recommended them last week against the Ravens and they actually played really well holding the Ravens to six field goals. Normally that would have been enough for the win but the Lions offense laid a complete dud at home. This week, both should be able to have nice games against the hapless New York Giants. The Giants could be the worst disaster of the season and things will not get better against Suh and company.
5. Doug Baldwin, WR, Seattle Seahawks (17.2%) – If you are in need of a solid option at WR, Baldwin has gone over double-digit points in four of his last six games. And since Arizona is operating without standout rookie Tyran Mathieu, things have gotten a bit easier against them in the passing game.
6. Kendall Hunter, RB, San Francisco 49ers (7.0%) – Hunter hasn’t gotten the amount of work that many were thinking he might but it’s possible that by Monday night, the 49ers will have locked up a playoff spot. If that is the case, Hunter could see more work and could possibly have his second game of the season with double-digit carries.
7. Da’Rick Rogers, WR, Indianapolis Colts (5.6%) – Rogers didn’t have quite the game his owners were hoping for after scoring twice in week 15 but his six targets in a blow out win for the Colts was a promising sign.
8. Knile Davis, RB, Kansas City Chiefs (1.2%) – Davis continues to get carries and has produced 19 fantasy points over the past two weeks. And up against the Colts at home, a team that can’t stop the run very well, I expect the Chiefs to run Charles and Davis a lot.
PLAYING WITH FIRE
9. Marvin Jones, WR, Cincinnati Bengals (21.1%) – Marvin had gone from the top of the waiver wire board to being dropped by most teams in a month. Now after scoring in back-to-back weeks, it’s time to bring him back. He could easily drop off the face of the fantasy radar again but you have to like his matchup with Vikings on paper.
10. Edwin Baker, RB, Cleveland Browns (0.0%) – Baker was the one running back to take advantage of his opportunity for the Browns while Willis McGahee missed the game. Baker was on the field for less snaps than Chris Ogbonnaya but did quite a bit more. He would be a risky play for sure but if McGahee misses another contest, Baker could provide a boost in super deep leagues.
11. Andre Roberts, WR, Arizona Cardinals (14.6%) – He’s had a terrible year playing behind Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd but if Fitz misses the week because of this concussion, Roberts would most likely start opposite Floyd. Seattle poses an extremely tough match up, so only the most desperate should be looking his way.
