MUST OWN

1. Andre Ellington, RB, Arizona Cardinals (21.1%*) – It finally came for all of us owners that had been clamoring for Ellington to get more work. He had been outplaying Rashard Mendenhall all season and with Mendenhall sitting this one out, Andre went off for 154 rushing yards with a score. Can the Cardinals go back to Mendenhall after this? I’m sure they will, sometimes coaches can be so stubborn.

2. Terrance Williams, WR, Dallas Cowboys (58%) – He’s scored in three straight and should be owned in all leagues. Even though he only finished with 2 catches this past week, Romo is targeting him. He is the WR2 for the Cowboys and is distancing himself and Miles Austin with every nice game.

3. Marvin Jones, WR, Cincinnati Bengals (1.0%) – Well hello Marvin Jones! My goodness, I actually got to enjoy that game as an owner of Jones in one league where I was desperate for a receiver. He now has double-digit points in three straight games. I was worried what his usage might be with Andrew Hawkins coming back soon but I think he’s cemented his role in the offense.

4. Andy Dalton, QB, Cincinnati Bengals (43.5%) – His ownership is going to go up fast this week. After two really good games, Dalton went crazy for five touchdowns against the Jets. That gives him 11 TDs total the past three weeks. He’s by FAR, a better option than Brady right now. And it’s not even close.

5. Kendall Wright, WR, Tennessee Titans (34.4%) – He needs to be owned in all PPR leagues. With Jake Locker back, he’s going to see lots of targets and is on pace for over 90 receptions.

6. Mike James, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (14.3%) – He didn’t do a lot against the Panthers last Thursday night but he did well in my eyes. I can see him having some nice games if Doug Martin misses a significant amount of time. There are different reports on Martins’ timetable to return but it looks like he will miss at least a few games.

TAKE A CHANCE

7. Tim Wright, WR/TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0.4%) – He and Mike Glennon have some chemistry and this isn’t the first time we’ve told you to pick him up if you are in need. I would rather own him over guys like Brent Celek, Brandon Myers or Jared Cook.

8. Ryan Lindell, K, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0.4%) – If you need a kicker this week Lindell should be atop your list. He’s not in a great offense but has at least two FGs in each of the past three games.

9. Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR, Indianapolis Colts (10.8%) – With Reggie Wayne going on season ending IR, Heyward-Bey will probably start to see an increase in targets. If he had better hands, he would have been in the must-own category but he drops quite a few catchable balls.

10. Peyton Hillis, RB, New York Giants (51.4%) – It’s still not pretty and who knows if Jacobs even has the job after returning but Hillis is doing a serviceable job and is pounding out some production.

11. Mike Tolbert, RB, Carolina Panthers (17.3%) – He is getting no respect but has a TD in three straight games. If and when Jonathan Stewart is back, I think he eats into Tolbert’s production but maybe not. That’s why you are taking a chance…

12. Heath Miller, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers (21.1%) – Didn’t have a very good game against Oakland but is still one of Big Ben’s favorite guys. He will have good but not great games the rest of the way. If you need 5-7 points a week, he could be your guy.

PLAYING WITH FIRE

13. Aaron Dobson, WR, New England Patriots (4.2%) – It’s impossible to know for sure if Dobson has overtaken Kenbrell Thompkins, but as of right now, Dobson is getting more snaps and production. Of course this could all be part of Bill Belichick’s plan…

14. Mike Glennon, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1.9%) –  Over his past three games Glennon has totaled 50 fantasy points. That’s more than Tom Brady, Eli Manning and Ben Roethlisberger over their past three. And all three of those guys are owned in nearly every league. Just saying.

15. Kenny Stills, WR, New Orleans Saints (1.1%) – His big two touchdown performance is sure to raise his ownership percentage but he’s basically the new Devery Henderson so beware the ups and downs that come with that type of player.

16. Jonathan Stewart, RB, Carolina Panthers (2.9%) – He’s a talented runner but has been plagued by injuries to his ankles. If healthy he’s sure to take a bite out of both Mike Tolbert’s and DeAngelo Williams‘ touches. High risk and low reward at this point. If something were to happen to Tolbert or Williams, Stewarts value would obviously go up.

*Owned percentage taken from ESPN leagues.
